Space Compass

This cool revolving table top was a specialty prop fabricated in a few different materials. MDF pieces were routed and then carefully layered together. The zinc plated ball bearing track allowed for stable, and smooth gliding movement. XPS and EPS foam was cut, shaped and hard coated.  All parts were assembled and hand painted to create a visually cohesive finish. A glass vase was fitted within the center, and laser cut acrylic symbols completed the look. Dimensions: 36″W x 24″ H
