Enchanted Rainforest

Giant Mushrooms! Over 30 live plants! A moss covered tree that blended into a printed backdrop! All created an especially convincing scene. This set was made to scale. Each foot represented 1 inch. After mapping out the location, a grid was constructed with plywood and 2×4 studs. The key set features like the tree and mushrooms were then fabricated and paint finished. A dirt floor veneer was made along the entire front. Various plants were placed in after which mulch was sprinkled throughout the entire ground.  Fog machine and lights completed the environment. We also used scented sprays, so the set smelled of wet dirt and a hint of bubble gum. A full immersion experience for enchanted realism!
