The Reptilian

This personal project I was really able to explore using urethane molds to carefully cast up gel filled  appliances that blended virtually undetected  into the performer’s skin and on to the overlapping prosthetic itself. This make-up is two silicone encapsulated appliances. Consisting of a large full face & neck piece. Also a chin/ lower lip piece.   The prosthetics were all pre-painted in layers. There is a real organic feel to this creature design and the slight slime like sheen and intrinsically colored silicone skin give it an overall added depth. The model’s eyes truly brought this make-up to life.
